PhD in Business Administration
M.Phil in Business Administration
The candidate seeking admission in M.Phil. in Business Administration must have sixteen year education (BBA-Hons or MBA 2 years) with a minimum 2.5/4.0 CGPA (as per HEC criteria).
In addition, the candidates will have to take Entry Test. Only those candidates who will qualify the entry test (pass marks 50%) will be called for the interview.
Executive MBA (Evening)
The basic criteria for applying for Executive MBA is 16 years qualification from any HEC recognized institution with at least 2nd division and minimum 3 years’ post qualification professional experience.
- The candidates must qualify the written test with 50 percent marks.
- The candidates must qualify the interview with 50 percent marks.
An applicant shall be evaluated on the basis of the following criteria for admission to Executive MBA:

Equivalence Certificate:- The candidates with graduation/master degree (16 years qualification) from university other than the University of the Punjab must produce Equivalence Certificate at the time of submission of application form. Equivalence certificate is issued by the University of the Punjab, Lahore, from the Equivalence Cell (Admin. Block Room No. 25). Candidates who fail to submit the Equivalence Certificate will not be included in merit list.
MBA 1.5 Years Program
The candidate seeking admission in MBA 1.5 years in Business Administration must have sixteen years education (BBA-Hons ) with a minimum 2.5/4.0 CGPA (as per HEC criteria).
In addition, the candidates will have to take the Entry Test. Only those candidates who will qualify for the entry test (pass marks 50%) will be called for the interview.
BBA Hons (Regular)
Candidate(s) seeking admission to BBA-Hons. must have secured at least second division in Intermediate or equivalent examination and age not more than 24 years.
O/A Level Candidate(s)
O/A Level candidate(s) should mention equivalence marks obtained and marks awarded by the IBCC Islamabad or relevant body.
Merit Criteria
Admission to BBA-Hons. shall be made on the basis of the Basic Criteria given below:-
Merit Formula:
(Obtained Marks in Matric ÷ 4) + obtained Marks in F.A./F.Sc./I.Com + 20 Marks for Hafiz-e-Qur’an + Additional Credit marks (20 Marks for each (Stat, Math, Economics) maximum 40 Marks. 40 Marks for I.Com students)
(Total Marks in Matric ÷ 4) + Total Marks of Intermediate |
Example A candidate obtained 915 marks {(915÷4) 229} out of 1050 in Matric {(1050÷4) 263} and 940 marks out of 1100 in F.A/F.Sc. His/her merit is calculated as under:- Obtained marks (915÷4) 229 + 940 = 1169 Total marks (1050÷4) 263 + 1100 = 1363 1169 ÷ 1363 x 100 = 85.77 (Merit Score) |

The merit will be calculated on the basis of academic performance as follows:
- 1/4 marks obtained in Matriculation
- Plus Intermediate marks
- Plus 20 marks Hafiz-e-Quran, if applicable
- Plus Additional Credit marks (20 marks for each (Stat, Math, Economics) maximum 40 marks. 40 marks for I.Com students)
BBA Hons (Afternoon)
Candidate(s) seeking admission to BBA-Hons. must have secured at least second division in Intermediate or equivalent examination.
O/A Level Candidate(s)
O/A Level candidate(s) should mention equivalence marks obtained and marks awarded by the IBCC Islamabad or relevant body.
