Prof. Dr. Talat Islam is an internationally recognized scholar in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, and Organizational Behavior. A Gold Medalist with a Ph.D. in Management from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), he has established an outstanding international reputation through high-impact research, academic leadership, and teaching excellence.
Since 2023, he has been recognized among the World’s Top 2% Scientists in the Stanford University–Elsevier global ranking and is ranked among the leading researchers in Business and Management in the Research.com Rankings (2025–2026). His research addresses contemporary organizational challenges across leadership, organizational behavior, human resource management, workplace well-being, organizational psychology, sustainability, knowledge management, and digital transformation.
With 135 peer-reviewed publications, including 56% in Q1 and 13% in Q2 journals, his research has appeared in leading international outlets published by Elsevier, Emerald, Springer Nature, Wiley, Taylor & Francis, and SAGE. His work has received extensive international recognition and has significantly contributed to advancing management scholarship.
His academic contributions have been recognized through several prestigious distinctions, including the Best Author Award, Best Reviewer Award, and Best Teacher Award, reflecting excellence in research, scholarly service, and higher education. Beyond publishing, he serves as an editor, editorial board member, and reviewer for numerous internationally indexed journals, contributing to the advancement of rigorous and impactful research worldwide.
